We all have grown listening haunted stories at almost every phase of our life be it when we were a small child, a school -going person or a college- going individual. Infact, most of us were even used to be purposely made scared by our parents or elder brother /sisters with the statement " agar jaldi ni soye to bhoot aa jaega" etc .... And because we have grown in this kind of environment we all believe somewhere in our hearts that ghosts do exist. Maybe they do, maybe they don't. I mean, I don't know maybe all this (Ghosts ,Haunted places ) is nothing more than just a mere superstition. But what if all this is true?
Are you too having a similar kind of dilemma like me? If yes, then you must read about these haunted places within India. Also, if you can mug up the courage required to visit any such haunted places then why not you just go to any one of these and experience the fear that will give you goosebumps and make you shiver with terror ;) Chill!! I m just kiding. :D This article will be enough for most of you to explore the same thrill. They will surely make you believe in ghosts. :p
1. MALCHA MAHAL, DELHI
Malcha mahal was once a hunting lodge built by Feroz Tughlaq. This monument is the
largest of all Shikhargaah's built by the emperor. This place will fill you with negativity as soon as you will enter here. The story behind this place being so scary is that Begum Wilayat Mahal was given this palace by the government after a long protest for the return of her properties.at the end she just got Malcha Mahal and den she committed suicide by drinking crushed diamonds of her ring as per prince Riaz (his son).It is said that her bodywas lying on her study desk for 10 days and her kids were mourning. The night before Prince Riaz buried her, both her kids slept with her dead body. Since her mother’s death, Princess Sakina has only wore black colour. However, it is believed that they have no connection with the world outside the palace, and that they stay with their ferocious dogs. Nobody tries to trespass the locality, as it looks horribly terrifying from the outside and the ghost of begum still inhibits in the house.
2. RAMOJI FILM CITY, HYDERABAD
Most of you might be having this superstition in their minds that ghosts inhibit only in the tattered and torned ruins of ancient architectures and lonely areas. Well, if you think so then you are highly mistaken.Lot many hotels in the Ramoji Film City are believed to be haunted. According to the locals, it is because the film city is built on the lands of Nizam Sultans that it experiences paranormal activities.People have reported mysterious shadows and figures appearing and disappearing and knocking sounds on doors.The food left in rooms also gets scattered around the room and marks are left on the mirror, some script. Girls are the ghosts’ favorite to haunt. They trouble the girls by tearing their clothes, knock on the bathroom doors while the outside doors are locked.
3. GP- BLOCK, MEERUT
Not so famous, but trust me the most occurrences have been seen very often in this area. The building is double-storeyed . Four men can be seen having drinks - the same sighting has been reported by a lot of people.. There have also been instances when people have seen a girl step out of the house in a red dress and men sitting on the roof-top.
4. SHIMLA TUNNEL-103
The tunnel no. 103 falls on the Shimla-Kalka railway track. People believe that it is abode of many spirits. Out of all the spirits one ghost is supposedly of British Railway Engineer, Calonel Barog who committed suicide because he was humilaited and fined heavily due to some gross miscalculation while the work was going on in the tunnel.They say, these spirits are of very friendly nature as they have experienced a British spirit talking to them audibly and have also seen a woman's spirit pass through the walls of the tunnel.
But do you think, a spirit talking to you is really that friendly and normal for you?
5. DELHI CANTONMENT, DELHI AND AAREY MILK COLONY, MUMBAI
Both of these places have somewhat a same kind of ghost story. Many peoples have reported that a female ghost dressed in a white saree asks for a lift and if they don't stop then it follows and runs at the speed of the car. The lady is supposed to be a hitchhiker while alive by the peoples of Delhi.
6.VRINDAVAN SOCIETY
A man who once used to reside in this colony,66 B, suicided. After that incident there have been reports of supernatural activities. It's strange and odd enough to know that ghosts exist amidst the hub of societies too. I kept this society's story for the end because of the funny activities of this ghost that will leave you giggling. this ghost slaps whoever enters late at night in the society. It once slapped the guard of the society so hard that he fell down and thought that the other guard had slapped him. Later, they came to know that it was the ghost who slapped.
